Nutritional Value of Unsalted Dry Roasted Pumpkin Seed Kernels
One of the best, most alkaline sources of nutrition you can eat. Pumpkin seeds are incredibly high in iron and magnesium, and contain a larger amount of protein than chia or flax per ounce, boasting a total of 5 grams per ounce. They’re also rich in B vitamins and are the only seed to actually have an alkalizing effect on the body, though many others are considered alkaline in nature. This means pumpkin seeds help counteract acidity and at the same time, provide the support your body needs to feel its best. They even contain high amounts of anxiety-relieving trytophan, an essential amino acid, which helps improve serotonin levels.
INSOMNIA?
Pumpkin Seeds are loaded with the amino acid tryptophan, which aids in the production of serotonin in the brain. A balance of the neurotransmitter serotonin is responsible for regulating mood, sleep, and appetite.
LOWERS CHOLESTEROL
Pumpkin Seeds have a high content of phytosterols, plant-based compounds that can reduce LDL “bad” cholesterol levels. Pumpkin seeds and other foods are naturally rich in phytosterols.
PROSTATE HEALTH
Pumpkin Seeds contains zinc and other antioxidants to reduce the risk of prostate disease.

Great for Allergies With severe nut allergies in the family we cannot eat most seeds, wheat bread, and granola bars from stores. These seeds allow us to make our own at home with confidence that they're not contaminated. Great quality and taste. Thank you Gerbs for creating allergy friendly options!

Great for weight loss! These are delicious, filling, and easy to use as a snack - mixed with berries, yogurt. - or just eat by the handful. They are a fabulous substitute for bread - leaves you satiated and not hungry. Gerbs pumpkin seeds have helped me go completely gluten free and also lose weight. So wonderful that they are allergen free - no worries of possible exposure to allergens. Thanks Gerbs!

Yum I love these pumpkin seeds for homemade trail mix. My son has severe nut allergies, so it is nice to find something he can have. We mix them with dried blueberries, sunflower seeds, and yogurt chips for a portable snack.

Great! We love pumpkin seeds, and it’s great to find some that aren’t processed in shared facilities with nuts. We use these as a replacement for nuts in recipes, and they add crunch to salads.

Pumpkin seeds are a great source of nutrients (zinc, tryptophan, etc) ! My son has a nut allergy so we eat them in place of nuts. I like to make a mix of pumpkin seeds, dried fruit and chocolate chips!
