Nutritional Value of Gluten-Free Raw Pumpkin Seed Kernels Shelled Pepitas
One of the best, most alkaline sources of nutrition you can eat. Pumpkin seeds are incredibly high in iron and magnesium, and contain a larger amount of protein than chia or flax per ounce, boasting a total of 5 grams per ounce. They’re also rich in B vitamins and are the only seed to actually have an alkalizing effect on the body, though many others are considered alkaline in nature. This means pumpkin seeds help counteract acidity and at the same time, provide the support your body needs to feel its best. They even contain high amounts of anxiety-relieving trytophan, an essential amino acid, which helps improve serotonin levels.
INSOMNIA?
Pumpkin Seeds are loaded with the amino acid tryptophan, which aids in the production of serotonin in the brain. A balance of the neurotransmitter serotonin is responsible for regulating mood, sleep, and appetite.

STORAGE OF GERBS
We strongly recommend storing in an airtight container in a cool, dark environment like a pantry or kitchen cabinet, away from direct exposure to sunlight or excessive heat like an oven. The amount of times you open the container and let in the harmful effects of oxygen will only increase the likelihood of rancidity; thus we encourage you to not empty more than 1 pound of product at a time. Gerbs can be frozen too, but we do not recommend it, because the cell structures will change as the product thaws out!

Great quality I soak these and then make “milk” out of them and they taste great. I am allergic to regular milk and all prepacked alternative milks have problematic ingredients so these are a great option.

Raw Pumpkin and Sunflower seeds!! They shipped way faster than I anticipated. They have been the perfect addition to our pantry. My son is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, dairy and sesame. Other brands of seeds had either cross contamination with nuts or sesame. I am so happy to have found these safe seeds that we can add to granola, roast with different seasonings for a snack, add to oatmeal or salads and help my son get the fats and protein that his growin brain and body need. Hooray! The pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds are delicious! Since my son has peanut, tree nut allergies, I have wanted to make recipes and substitute pumpkin and/or sunflower seeds for nuts but was never able to find any that weren’t “processed on the same equipment as peanuts/tree nuts”. Thanks Gerbs for finally making that available for us! The dried cranberries were yummy too!

Raw Pumpkin Seed kernels Really excellent taste and quality. I have multiple allergies, but have never had any problem with Gerb's seeds. I use various seeds and nuts with blueberries and bananas for breakfast - delicious. I always soak raw seeds in warm salt water one day and then rinse and dehydrate - there are natural toxins on the seeds to prevent animals from eating them.
